Jules Gwinnutt

Jules is a Paralegal in RLK Solicitors’ Insurance Litigation Department, specialising in Business Interruption Insurance (BII) claims. Since joining the BII team, Jules has been actively involved in pre-litigation negotiations with insurers, applying legal reasoning to challenge policy interpretations and assess the validity of business interruption claims.

Working closely with clients, Jules plays a key role in progressing claims toward resolution, gathering key information and preparing detailed evidence to support each case.

Jules holds an LLB from Swansea University and completed both the Bar Practice Course (BPC) and LLM in Bar Practice at The University of Law. Prior to joining RLK, Jules appeared in nearly 400 County Court hearings as an advocate, covering a broad spectrum of civil matters including housing possession, personal insolvency, consumer credit claims, and road traffic accident litigation. With experience in both interlocutory hearings and small claims trials, Jules brings a pragmatic, evidence-based approach to case strategy, always focused on protecting and advancing the client’s position.
