Simon Thompson is a highly experienced lawyer with a primarily insurance based civil litigation background with a particular focus on claims involving fraud.

Simon worked for Legal 500 firm, DAC Beachcroft for 10 years, predominantly acting for and on behalf of a number of insurance companies. During this time, Simon demonstrated his commercial acumen and a forensic analysis of evidence in order to secure the best results for his clients. Whilst primarily acting for insurance companies, Simon understands that a huge part of litigation is the ability to communicate with clients, especially individuals so as to ensure understanding of the litigation process and legal advice with a view to working as a team to secure the best possible outcome. Simon prides himself on having a personable and understanding approach to managing cases whilst balancing this with an analytical and strategic mindset.

Simon was shortlisted for the National CILEx Legal Expert Award in 2018.

Outside of work Simon enjoys spending time with his family, taking his dogs for long walks and going to the gym. Simon has a keen interest in sports including football, Formula 1 and tennis. He is a keen Manchester Utd fan although he has not had much to celebrate on the pitch in recent years!
