Jamie Mackenzie is a lawyer specialising in civil litigation. Previously, Jamie worked for a legal 500 firm acting for insurance and bus companies in civil claims, mainly acting on behalf of Defendants. Jamie has achieved many successful liability outcomes for clients, including one particularly notable case in which a finding of fundamental dishonesty was made against a fraudulent Claimant, resulting in a significant recovery of costs for the client.

Before that, Jamie qualified as a barrister and has extensive advocacy experience at County Court level, acting on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants in quantum and application hearings. In these hearings, Jamie regularly achieved successes for clients in terms of successful applications and in ensuring the most appropriate amount was awarded in quantum hearings.
