Ian qualified as a solicitor in 2004. He has extensive experience in all areas of litigation, and now specialises in high value Chancery claims. Ian is, however, keen to consider all types of civil contentious work.
Ian has had a wide variety of vocational experiences. These include working as a dustman (whilst a student), teaching English to underprivileged African children in KwaZulu-Natal, and becoming a salaried partner in a Birmingham City Centre law firm. These experiences have given Ian the ability to positively deal with the rigours of contentious matters, and to ‘charm’ opponents to his (and his clients’) point of view.
Ian enjoys playing and watching football outside of the office, as well as generally trying to keep fit by swimming, running and occasionally going to the gym.
