RLK Solicitors Strengthens London Offering and Wider Litigation Capability with Two Key Appointments
RLK Solicitors has strengthened its London Dispute Resolution & Litigation offering and wider national litigation capability with the appointments of London-based Senior Associate Ligia Bob and Birmingham-based Associate Osauwese Omoragbon.
The appointments form part of the firm’s continued investment in its London presence, while also reflecting RLK’s broader growth across its dispute resolution and litigation teams nationwide. Together, the appointments further strengthen the firm’s ability to support clients involved in complex commercial disputes, shareholder conflicts, fraud matters and high-value contentious work.
Ligia joins RLK as a Senior Associate within the Dispute Resolution and Commercial Litigation team in London, bringing significant experience in complex commercial disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, civil fraud, contentious insolvency, banking disputes and asset recovery matters.
Originally qualified in Romania, before qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales and later Gibraltar, Ligia is known for combining detailed legal analysis with commercially focused strategic advice. Her approach centres on understanding the wider objectives behind a dispute, helping clients protect both their legal position and broader business interests.
Alongside Ligia’s appointment in London, Osauwese joins RLK as an Associate in Dispute Resolution & Litigation, based in Birmingham, following her training and practice at DLA Piper.
Osauwese has experience across a range of contentious matters, including breach of contract claims, shareholder disputes, fraud, sports disputes and wider commercial litigation. She has developed strong experience in legal research, evidence analysis, drafting, trial preparation and post-judgment work, with a reputation for producing technically robust and commercially focused work.
While RLK’s London growth remains a key focus, Osauwese’s appointment demonstrates the firm’s continued investment in its Birmingham team and its wider nationwide litigation capability.
The appointments further enhance RLK’s ability to advise businesses, directors, shareholders and individuals involved in strategically sensitive disputes requiring both technical expertise and practical commercial judgement.
Satish Jakhu, Managing Director and Head of Dispute Resolution & Litigation at RLK Solicitors, said:
“London continues to be an important part of RLK’s long-term growth strategy, particularly within complex dispute resolution and commercial litigation.
Ligia brings impressive experience, strong technical ability and a commercially focused mindset that will further strengthen our London offering.
Osauwese’s appointment in Birmingham also reflects the continued growth of our wider dispute resolution and litigation capability across the firm.
Together, their appointments strengthen our ability to support clients across a broad range of disputes, while continuing to build the depth and quality of our team nationally.”
These appointments reflect RLK’s continued focus on strategic growth across its core practice areas, with the firm continuing to expand its capabilities across Birmingham, Edgbaston and London.
