RLK Solicitors is delighted to announce that Beliz Inan has today qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. This is a significant milestone in her career and reflects both her commitment and the supportive training environment that RLK continues to develop for its junior talent.
Beliz joined RLK as a Litigation Paralegal in our Business Interruption Insurance team, where her attention to detail, strong analytical skills and reliability quickly stood out. She progressed to Trainee Solicitor and has since gained valued experience across both our Litigation and Insurance Litigation departments.
Her academic achievements, including a First Class Honours degree in Law with Criminology from the University of Leicester and an LLM Legal Practice (Solicitors) from BPP University Law School, created a strong foundation which she has continued to build upon throughout her training. Beliz also brought a breadth of early experience from her university years, including pro bono work and her involvement in the Miscarriages of Justice Project.
Investing in the next generation: the RLK Academy
Beliz’s journey aligns closely with the ethos behind the RLK Academy, our growing internal development programme designed to give aspiring solicitors a structured and commercial pathway through the early stages of their careers.
The Academy focuses on:
• Practical training delivered by senior solicitors
• Exposure to high-quality casework across our key departments
• Business development and client service skills
• A clear, transparent career pathway aligned with RLK’s GRIT values
• Early involvement in firmwide initiatives and networking events
The Academy formalises what has long been part of RLK’s culture: spotting potential early, nurturing it, and providing the right environment for talented individuals to excel.
Litigation Paralegal Assessment Day, 10 December
As part of our investment in junior talent, RLK will host a Litigation Paralegal Assessment Day on 10 December. This forms part of our recruitment process for the expanding Litigation team and is designed to identify individuals who demonstrate strong technical promise, commercial awareness and excellent client communication skills.
The assessment day includes practical tasks, interviews and group exercises to ensure candidates have the right blend of capability, attitude and long-term potential to progress through the RLK Academy.
It is also an important opportunity for us to showcase who we are as a firm and the value we offer to individuals embarking on a career in law. The day allows candidates to experience RLK’s culture first hand and understand the level of support, training and opportunity they can expect from day one.
A proud moment for the firm
Speaking on Beliz’s qualification, Satish Jakhu, Director and Head of Dispute Resolution & Litigation, said:
“Beliz has been an asset to our team from day one. Her work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to doing the right thing for clients is everything we look for at RLK. Watching her progress through the firm has been a real pleasure. Her qualification is thoroughly deserved and is exactly the kind of success story we want to replicate through the RLK Academy.”
Beliz remains known among the team not only for her professionalism but also for the energy she brings to everything she does, from her six-day-a-week gym routine to her love of sport and live music.
RLK Solicitors is proud to celebrate this milestone with her and looks forward to supporting the next generation of future solicitors through the Academy.
