RLK Solicitors has appointed Alisha Rait as its new Head of Family reflecting the firm’s continued growth and the rising demand for family law services across Birmingham, the wider Midlands.
Alisha is a Law Society Children Law Scheme accredited solicitor and a Resolution accredited specialist in Public and Private Law Children. With over 10 years of experience, she brings specialist expertise in complex children cases, safeguarding issues and high-value financial disputes. She also undertakes much of her own advocacy in the Family Court, ensuring clients benefit from seamless and strategic representation.
Her practice covers the full spectrum of family law, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, cohabitation disputes, and cases involving allegations of harm or non-accidental injury. Before joining RLK, Alisha headed the family department at a regional firm, where she supervised a team of solicitors and built a reputation for managing challenging, court-led proceedings.
